"Well, we're not very cool." That's what these two VERY cool people led with in our final-walk thru when talking through their love party plans. This quote might make you think that these two were incapable of thinking outside the box or that they're boring to be around -- quite the contrary. They just meant they weren't conventional - which, we totally dig.
Meet A and G, two rebels who decided traditional choices weren't for them. They walked hand in hand down the aisle - no bouquet, no first dance, and no, they didn't end the night with a Journey song. No, they played their last song and then their best friends surprised them with a song G frequently requests at bars - not a hip/hop funk jam - a folksy song and they all gathered in a circle and swayed till the song ended and the doors opened up for closing time.
But the best part of it all? It was beautiful and fun and just SO THEM - they weren't glowing because they crossed off all their wedding tradition checklist. They were glowing because they did exactly what they wanted and made their party feel warm and intimate even in a big space like the Green Building. Plus, all their vendors were chill + just really great to be around - no stress in that love party room. Ain't nobody got time for that ! But you know what we do have time for? Authentic choices and Four & Twenty's chocolate pie. Cause OMG. So much love in that room - for pie + goodness + two VERY cool people, despite what they might tell you 😉
