Modern Rebel Dispatch Vol. 3 No. 8: Find Your Footing 👣

As I wandered the city, I realized I love free audio guides and am oddly fascinated by weird niche royal history. A sad Billy Joel song playing in my headphones had me pretending I was in a British romcom; so satisfying, and maybe what my doctor should have ordered. I learned I don’t love marmite but I actually like British tea - I didn’t know it could be so milky?! I loved biking through the old streets of the city, wind in my hair and stopping for a meat pie lunch with a new friend who I had just met, sharing stories about working motherhood and infertility.

I learned that being my head isn’t always such a taxing place to be, that I’m alright. That to champion all the relationships I hold dear, I might just need to be alone for a bit - to let myself walk at a slower pace and find my footing.
