A Thousand Years
We feel like we’ve known each other forever.” Danielle + Matt celebrated their timeless love story in the Foundry in Queens, NY, the only still standing steel foundry [now, an event space] in the area that catered to the riverfront manufacturers in the 19th century. Something about the evening and the space feels a bit like time travel, which is exactly what we were going for. We envisioned an evening that played with time travel, initially greeting guests with retro TVs playing their lockdown elopement on the TVs, a cocktail hour with vintage furniture and a dinner with classic, antique dinnerware. Danielle and Matt wanted a celebration that transports you - just like their love has done for them. We livened the evening with Hudson Horn’s brass band and Thomas Preti’s painter’s table and a throwback audio guest book. Looking back, we’re not sure if time stood still or flew by on this epic evening.
