Modern Rebel Dispatch Vol. 3 No. 5: Find the Fun 💕

“Relationships take work.” You’ve heard this before, and hey, it’s true. But in my experience, relationships really take fun more than anything else. That’s why, four times a year, John and I put a “day date” on the calendar - because date night shouldn’t get all the fun 😉

There are three pieces of criteria for our day dates:

1. You gotta play hooky from work - there is just something more fun about skipping town to go to a water park on a Wednesday
2. It must incorporate some element of fun - nothing too fussy
3. No checking phones!
