A Sloppy Punk-Rock Feeling
All the cool kids in college did college radio - right? Always one step ahead of the latest album curve and exactly in the loop on which concert tickets to buy. Enter DJ + Brian, two love birds who met and fell in love in that cool corner of the universe discussing the latest and greatest indie artists you’ve never heard of. Aside from their love of music, she’s an aerialist and they share a love of board games. They’re punk rock kids who love a good mosh pit and acoustic jam. It was just a no-brainer to get married at one of their favorite music venues, The Bell House in Brooklyn. They got married on stage, hired their favorite Indie artist to do a surprise live set, put up faux band posters and their “merch” table included a polaroid guest book. If you think this party can’t get cooler, in lieu of a first dance, they did a first “stage dive” together - so, yes, it got even cooler. Until death, Rebels!
...we knew we wanted an inclusive, experimental partner and not a cookie-cutter agency that was going to organize a generic, heteronormative wedding at a country club. From the start, Amy and her team were interested in who we are as people, what we valued for ourselves and our guests in our wedding, and focused on our partnership as a foundation for everything else.
