Marriage is a Mirror
Jamie + Jeremy fell in love in Brooklyn. He was a Broadway guitarist who was in the middle of law school during the Love Party planning process... She’s a lawyer, too, and an enthusiastic karaoke-r. They bonded over fantasy novels + frequenting dog parks. They wanted their marriage and their nuptials to be a reflection of their community and their values. They intentionally chose to work with local, women, queer and BIPOC vendors so that every single element of their celebration felt like a reflection of what matters most to them: diversity + inclusion. The night was a romantic fantasy inspired evening with some silly mixed in with - joy, a key value of theirs, at the heart of it all.
The team at Modern Rebel is nothing short of amazing! When your biggest problem with your wedding was that most of the guests never noticed that you also served pie (and funny pie toppers) because the band was so good that no one left the dance floor, you had a pretty good wedding.
